Selma Duhovic, 3rd Year

Education:
    B.A. Ohio Wesleyan, 2006

While I'm a third-year grad student, I joined the Diaconescu group in May 2008. Originally from Bosnia, I immigrated to Boston in 1996. Before joining the Diaconescu group, I did research in reticular chemistry and studied crystallography with Omar Yaghi. Now I'm in organometallic chemistry studying small-molecule activation using organouranium complexes. When I'm not in the glove box, I'm either socializing with people or reading in a coffee shop. I don't know how to drive.
