Education:

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, UCLA

Master of Science in Chemistry, CSULA

Marisa Monreal joined the Diaconescu Lab in 2005 after obtaining her B.S. from UCLA and her M.S. from California State University, Los Angeles, where she worked in Prof. Wayne Tikkannen’s laboratory developing silica-supported chiral zirconium catalysts.  In the Diaconescu Lab, Marisa is studying complexes of uranium and scandium supported by ferrocene diamide ligands .
