Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, May 2004, University of Idaho, Moscow, ID Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, August 2007, UCLA
Awards/Fellowships: ERULF Fellow, Department of Energy, Jan – Aug 2001 Merck Index Award, University of Idaho, May 2004 Excellence in Teaching Award, UCLA, 2006 Inorganic Research Award, UCLA, 2007
Research Interests:
I have been investigating the reactivity of various scandium, yttrium, and lanthanum alkyl complexes supported by ferrocene diamide ligands. The overall goal of my research is to develop novel catalysts for small molecule activation, including C-H activation and reduction of carbon dioxide, and for the polymerization of olefins and polar substrates.
